i have a 1992 mercury 40 hp with oil injection and i have been reading some posts on people removing the oil injection due to possible oil pump failure resulting in a blown engine. Should i be concerned about this and if so, is it recommended that i remove this? thanks
On my 92' merc 40 it has no hydrofoil but it has the holes for the hydrofoil drilled into the cavitation plate. Is this bad? will it effect performace planing ect. I was told that it is bad but am uncertain so i wanted to double cheak thanks.
