the off-brand chinesium bellows kits are a crapshoot.... I put one in, and it lasted about a year and a half.... OEM will last usually...

What is a VHF cell tower? I retired from the industry never heard of it. Also the antenna has nothing to do with volume.

the 4 cyl through a tube doesnt sound too bad... its not like a Honda with a FartCan on it, but its no V-8 burble either.... :D

Good point, Speaker on a VHF is maybe 2 inch, and not of good quality Probably why so many Ext speakers are sold

Yep, I used some pretty good zip ties on them. The oem fitting from 1999 had a zip tie on it, so I figured if they did it, I could too...
