I'm thinking about buying a endura transom mount 50 off of someone. What will be the difference in battery drain of a 30 vs. 50? I would use the slow speeds most of the time and only use the higher speeds if I was on a lake where I can't run my gas motor.

I found a puddle of grease tonight under my year 2000 evinrude 9.9 motor tonight about the size of a grapefruit. It appears its coming out of where the propoller meets the motor on the bottom. Any ideas? I was planning on going fishing Saturday but now I don't know what to do.

I figured out I need a new spindle. Is it possible to remove a spindle from the axle. I am considering buying an axle but I can't find any like mine that have the brackets that attach to the spring built into them. Do you have to get brackets and have them welded?
I replaced a wheel hub for the first time and I think I did it correctly but when I put the bolt on and it seems like it is going to far on. I am tightening it very tight and it almost goes all the way into the hub. The cotter pin is outside of the grooves on the bolt. Is this going to be a problem?
