I have a 1986 century boat with a mercruiser 260. The rack and cable needs replaced. I removed the clevis pin and the nut from the steering tube. The cable will not come out. Is there something else I need to remove? Any help appreciated.
I am having a problem with a 1976 77hp evinrude. 9 out of 10 times when I give it throttle it falls on its face and dies. Once in a while it takes it and runs great:confused: I have rebuilt carbs, new fuel pump, new fuel lines and primer bulb. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
