    in-floor gas tank bad- boat salvage in WI?

    Noticed the top of my aluninum tank is pitted bad-inlets holes on sides too. anyone know of any boat salvage yards in Wisconsin(lower if possiable)? if I can't find use one..might try to use a couple cans and turn square hole in floor for storage? any ides here? thanks Gene <br /> 1982...

    water leaks all around ear muffs-normal?

    started up 115 hp Evinrude other day. was quite abit of water running out around the muffs. is this normal? didn,t really notice water discharging up farther either, but need to try again to be sure. thanks Gene

    can outboard rest just on mounting bolts?

    very new here so please bear with me- the Evinrude 115 on my 17 ft four winns is supported only by the 4 bolts that go thru mount and the transom(sorry on spelling. does the top of the tilt mount need to rest also on transom to bear some of the weight so all isn't on bolts? there is about 3/4...

    where is gas filter on Evinrude 115 hp??

    my Evinrude 115 hp has something missing that is suppose to be in fuel line infront of motor. the line is cut between motor and hull and has gas clamp on each end. these are just resting on hull. is this where a gas filter goes or is this maybe a spot for a hand pumping primer? don't see one...

    will this starter work- 3 to 4 cylinder?

    small cracking in fiberglass where trasform bends?

    the wood seems ok under transform..look again but, what can I put over the hairline stress cracks infront of motor where transform bends to go parallel with boat. basically just along the crevis of the bend? will 'chip gaurd' or simular spray-on/brush rubber base product be sufficiant? thanks...

    what to cover minor 'stress cracks' with to waterproof

    low down in the pocket where motor mounts have minor small cracks just where hull meets back plate where motor mounts. there is a drain in this area from splashing water. is there a product to smear-paint-brush ect..so as to just keep moister out? I was thinking that maybe clear 'chip gaurd'...

    lower unit question on Merc 850 ?

    the shaft on the lower unit that the prop slides on just 'clicks' when you spin it? one direction is more-so than other. is this normal? its sitting on a trailer with prop off. its a I.O. Merc 850. need to know before purchasing. thank you very much. Gene
