I have a 1980/85 Eventide 50hp Outboard motor that I am having problems with.
1st- I can't seem to figure out how to adjust the low end and high end carb adjustments. (I have attached photos for reference) My old boat had dials near the carb to adjust accordingly, but I can't find them here...

Sometimes when i am trying to start my engine on my 1964 OMC's Gale outboard i ant get it out of neutral and have to (simply put) force it out and then back in again from Froward to neutral and then to reverse.... is there something i can do about this? Is this the cable? Is there an adjustment...
Replacing my first throttle cable ever on my 1964 OMC's Gale outboard engine, and wanted to see if anyone had any tips for me on this.
Boat is simple 14fter and i have the old cable pulled, and new one ready to install... just wanted to see if anyone had any tips on installing it smoothly...
