    1969 Evinrude water mixing with gear oil???

    I have noticed that the lower oil is milky on my 1969 Evinrude outdrive. I have replaced the two oil plug gaskets already. What else do I need to do to stop the water from getting in? Is there a seal behind the prop that needs to be replaced? If so can someone point me in the right direction...

    Top speed out of a 1969 Evinrude 115hp on a 18ft Larson Shark Tri-Hull???

    1969 Evinrude 115hp Oil Ratio?

    I am getting a small amount of oil out of the weep hole maybe 3 hours after shut down. In reading it sounds to be normal of the 2 cycle engines. But the question I have is could a 50:1 ratio be too much for this motor or is that what it calls for? I don't have any manuals for this unit yet so...

    Oil coming out small weep hole in bottem end?

    Every time after running the motor, overnight I am getting a some oil drip-page out of a small diameter hole in the bottom end on the port side of the motor. Where could this be coming from and why? Its dark oil not the lower oil that I just changed in the lower end... Damian

    1969 Evinrude Selectric Fwd/N/Rev Switch

    I just purchased a 1969 Evinrude Selectric 115hp motor. Someone removed the forward, neutral, reverse switch. There is a blue, purple, and green wire in the control unit and on the bottom of the switch reads N,R, and +. Can anyone tell me what wire goes where? Thanks, Damian
