I boat and camp about 20 time a year at Conchas Lake, outside Tucumcarri New Mexico. I use to go to Elephant Butte all the time but it got idiototic because of all the drunken lunitics on the lake, plus it is further away than Conchas from my house in the mountains.

I notice the majority of threads in the toon section deal with trying to make them FASTER.....Why even buy a pontoon if you want to go fast? Or, is it just that you bought it, have had it a while and it is getting to be boring on the water because it is so slow? My best lake buddy has a 18ft...
