    spark issue

    Trying to help a friend out he has a 40355d didn't have spark on bottom cylinder but did on top via timing light test. Finally got flywheel of for a look at the points they didn't look burnt cleaned them any how still no spark. Any help would be greatly appreciated

    I was able to pick up a whole ignition system . Stator,flywheel,power packs,timer base,coils i noticed one of the magnets was lose not cracked . I want to reglue them . What epoxy do i use ?

    How much has it improved over the years? cross flow vs looper? looper vs fict? fict vs etec ? I believe the old rule of thumb was horsepower x10% equals gallons per hour. does this still hold true?

    When a cdi box is going bad will it be intermediate or go all at once. I can be un way then it will cut back to three cylinders for a moment then pick back up. Is this did box going bad or should I be looking for a bad connection.
