    Planing out problems

    I have an 18 foot fish and ski with a 90 HP mercury engine on it. The motor starts and runs fine, every time. However, the boat has been giving me problems planing out. If I gun the engine, the front pops up, but never quite planes out, and then I have to pull off the gas and let it come back...

    90 HP Mercury Starting Problems

    I recently purchased a 1986 Cheetah F/S with a 90 HP Mercury in line 6 and power tilt/trim. I am not sure of the year of the motor, but I will get the serial number and post it later. The seller started it right up for me and it ran and sounded great. We took it to the lake and had no luck...
