    IT runs now

    even though i'm still struggling with the recoil, i forgot to add that with add of your advice, i was able to pull the flywheel, change the points and condenser, new plug and after 3 pulls it started. thanks for all the help and my manual is ordered :)

    removing flywheel on 2hp evinrude

    my learning continues, can someone tell me the best and least damaging way to remove the flywheel on my 2hp rude to check the points and condensor? tks :confused:

    Evinrude 1983 2hp

    just purchased a 2hp evinrude, been setting in a boat shop up a Mamoth lakes. I have no spark at the plug and no spark when i jump to ground with a screw driver. What next? New plug wire? Should i be thinking about replacing the impeller? tks rich :cool:
