    Water Seperator Filter

    I own a 2004 yamaha 90HP, 2 stroke. I was surprised that yamaha did not install the filter as a standard part. Should I have it installed? Is it something very involved to do?

    Max Rpm on 90 hp! 2 stroke Yamaha.

    04 model on a 17ft Glastron. I have been reading a lot about the max rmp between 4500-5500.My owner manual states that as well. I have 9 hours on the motor so far. Prop is 13 1/4X 17 pitch. I have not been able to get the Rpm past 5100 at 39MPH. Water was semi calm , not as bad as it usually is...

    Noise db on 2 stroke vs. 4 stroke

    I have been trying to find some data on the noise and decibles on 2 stroke versus 4 stroke on the 90 hp Yamaha motors. No luck in the Yami website. Any of you folks have any information on that . I would greatly appreciate it. <br /><br />Thank you from sunny southwest Florida.
