Seems like one of my biggest frustrations is finding reliable people to come out on the boat with me. Everyone always expresses interest in going out, but when you ask them and set a date and time they are always unavailable.

I did virtually the same thing a few years ago, i went the skeg-guard route, cleaned up the old skeg, bolted on the gaurd, good to go.

Test drive went well, got the boat up to 45, is that the best i can expect out of this boat? was pretty chilly on the water, 60ish, but the water was 75!
