Fitting my plywood boat - Glen L15 with motor and need to get a 10 to 12' long gear shift and throttle cables complete....and rope steering system. I was checking Craigslist and eBay but nothing there so far. Where do I look ???
Just got this motor - long shaft, electric start.
Compression: upper 115 psi, lower 110 psi.
it's a convert to remote controls - home made - looking for a correct way to do it - parts lists etc. Have a repair manual on order.
Also looking for a correct remote controls, cables or part numbers etc.

water pump impeller installed....tried the motor in the barrel....runs good.....pump is working......BUT...after running it fir 3-5 minutes, noticed what seems to be some sort of oil in the water....looks like gear oil from gear box....wandering...

Here is a picture of plastic impeller housing....see cracks by the bolt....impeller plate has a gasket that seems not to be able seal the housing.....plate prabably would work with metal housing, but the gasket is made for smaller propeller

turned out that NAPA 18-3001 that supposed to replace 277181 - DOS NOT do that......old impeller is way smaller in diameter and thicker.....what to do now???
Have too go trough some catalogs and see what is out there....looks like I could use...

glad to find this thread....have 62 CD-19S and need to replace water pump....would like to find Johnson owner in Seattle area
