Anyone have an opinion on the Minn-Kota Edge 70/24v/42" or 45" shaft, foot control troll motor? I have a 16' Champion which now has a 24v MotorGuide 41lb thrust motor with a 36" shaft right now. Need a longer shaft and the extra power wouldn't hurt.

I have an old Lowrance X-15 paper graph that was operable with a thru hull transducer mounted in the rear of the boat under the gas tank. The transducer cable was cut about a foot from the connector at the dash. :rolleyes:Questions: (1) Can the cable be spliced without no loss of frequency...
I have a 1983 Johnson 150 that came with an in-dash speedometer which does not register at all, even at faster speeds. Anyone have suggestions to troubleshoot? The hose is free and clear from the lower unit fitting to the speedometer. The speedometer does work when low air is applied.
I want to correctly re-install my 150 outboard on to my rebuilt transom. Obviously I do not want it to leak ever!!! I have heard to use a product from 3M called 5200 on all thru transom holes. Anyone have opinions or for sure do's and dont's?

Anyone walk me thru removing my 1983 150 Johnson outboard from the transom on a Champion Bass Boat. In particular the wiring for the trim guage and the trim & tilt pump. Do not want to cut any wiring. Shift and streering cables will remain with the boat. Going to have the transom repaired.
