    need 35HP idle help

    heres the story. just got the engine and it ran fine. started it and the throttle cable needed adjustment in the box. played with it and it was set. hook the motor back up and start with choke on and it did a really quick rev up then it cut out. now the engine will only start and stay running...

    1994 - 4 horsepower evinrude

    i just bought a 1994 4 horsepower evinrude deluxe, and when i started it, it didnt pee. i shut it off, looked around and i couldnt even find a pee hole. i started it again and with under a minute of running, the cylinders got super hot. what should i do? is this engine some how air cooled????

    white johnson

    im buying a 5.5 HP johnson real cheap, and since the guy doesnt know the year and doesnt have pictures, i asked him for the color. its white. i know green and red was used in the 1950s, so when was white used? im just trying to get a little knowledge on this engine. thanks

    i have a 1964 mercury, 2 cylinder. i was redoing the hoses and checking the carb, and after starting it with just some gas in the carb "cup" you might call it, my engined burned it up in 3 seconds. when i first go this thing, i idled it in a barel for about 15 minutes total and it burnded nearly...
