    So, I thought all V4 loopers had the V6 gearcase. Not seadrives?

    I was under the impression that all of the V4 loopers had the large gearcase, but today I bought a Sportcraft 205 fisherman with a 1.8L looper, and it has the small gearcase with the 13 7/8" prop. Is this just a seadrive thing, or was I just wrong about the loopers all having the big lower unit?

    transom cap replacment

    I am currently in the process of replacing the transom on my 21' sylvan aluminum boat. The aluminum cap around the top edge is in very bad condition, but I have no idea where to find a replacment. The part is long out of production. Any ideas?

    Replacing the transom in an aluminum boat. which ply?

    I need to replace the transom in my 21' Sylvan, and I'm not sure which type of plywood to use. I've read that treated wood will cause bad corrosion problems in the aluminum. Any suggestions?

    What do you guys use to clean the plastic carbs on the V-6 Loopers?

    The factory service manual says to use isopropyl alcohol and a syringe. It say not to SUBMERGE the carb or parts in strong carb cleaner, but would it be okay to clean the individual parts with carb cleaner and compressed air?
