    Not since I've had it. Someone had adjusted the carbs and set the idle super high. Itnwoukd slam into gear. I re linked and synced it. Re set the carbs and idle speed.

    Ok now, If I reverse the throttle cable ( Circled in blue) and make it push the throttle cable into the motor (instead of pull away from) The CDI (white) engages and moves properly. However the carbs (Red) are not engaged at all. So the cdi thinks we are WOT but the carbs are sitting at idle...

    This shows the current set up. The throttle pulls from the motor. Carbs engage, but the CDI does nothing. The cdi is sitting at idle. According to my book, it should have moved down to the middle notch on the CDI box This is with the throttle pushed wide open at the yamaha 703 box
