can someone help id age of merc. on the cover it has kiekhaefer mercury on the front. the no. 110 on the side. it is a 9.8 hp. i took the cover of and couldnt see any nos. that looked like a serial no. can anybody determine age. if i need more no. where do i get them. thanks for everyones help.
someone gave us a gamefisher 4.5hp motor. the alum. is kind of pitted and you cant pull the rope to start. someone told us parts are hard or impossible to get. is that true? is it worth trying to fix or should we just scrap it now i would say its at least 10 to 15 years old if not older...
