i got a 50 hp 500 its a 1971 great motor runs really well but sometimes at an idle it seems to flood out after a bit untill i give it throttle then it rips no problem. could this be a float problem im thinkin my lower carb is the one thats doing it its 4shur flooding though cause i tryed to pump...
ive got a older 13.5 foot van guard with a 50 hp on er and im wondering what pitch prop i could use on it. im gettin 47 mph and comeing out of the hole like a skipped rock but kinda want more speed. should i go stainless prop or?? any help would be awsome
i have a 1963 van guard it came with a 1962 30hp west bend golden shark it runs pretty good but i got a 1971 merc 50 500 and im mounting it onto my boat the cavataion plate is about 3 and a half inches below where it should be . is there a jack plate i can get and or make myself for this...
