    Could an Electrical Problem be scaring away all the fish??

    We have a 1992 Trophy 25 ft with an '01 225 HP Evinrude and an '04 Yamaha 8hp kicker. We owned it about 3 seasons and regularly go salmon fishing in the summer. We have tried all the techniques/tricks (trolling, mooching, downrigger, ect) but we haven't caught one salmon while boats 10 ft away...

    1941 Wizard Fuel Tank ?

    I got a 1941 Wizard 3hp outboard. It is a very nice running motor with a very nice low idle and it is also quiet.     Mercury Fuel Problem

    We have a 1956 Mercury Mark 6 Comet Twin 6hp and the fuel line we currently are using is 1/4 inch oil line. Is that a good size or is it too small of line? Does it matter if it is oil line or gas line or is their a differnce? :confused:

    50's OMCs in Saltwater

    I've heard that 50's Mercury outboards should not be put in saltwater even if you flush them with fresh water and/or saltaway because they were not built for it. Is this true for OMC outboards from the 50's too??:confused:

    How Often To Piant A Wooden Boat??

    We have a 1948 14 ft Sande Skiff and we want to know how often we should paint the hull. We have heard that you should paint it every year. I should also mention that it will be kept on a trailer 95% of the time. Thanks!!:D:D

    The Right Outboard

    I'm looking to buy a 50's OMC outboard to power our 14' wooden boat. What would be a good size of outboard for that boat? What years are best and what years should I stay away from? Also, how much should i pay for one?
