    POWER TILT INSTALL?

    I JUST REMOVED MY MANUAL TILT ASSEMBLY, AFTER 5 BROKEN BOLTS IM FINALY DONE. I WENT TO INSTALL THE POWER TILT UNIT AND I CANT GET IT TO CLEAR THE STERN BRACKETS.     broken bolt!!!!

    I went to change my manual tilt motor to a power tilt and of course I snapped the bolt holding the shock bracket? Is it possible to sawsall thru the bolt?

    WILL POWER TILT FIT?

    I have a 1979 Evinrude 100 horse that does not have power tilt and trim, (manual). I bought a power tilt and trim assembly off of ebay for the same exact motor, (OMCunit). Will I have any problems putting this on my motor?

    MOTOR HEIGHT?

    I have a 1987 Glastron 16ft., weight apprx. 1300lbs., with a 1979 Evinrude 100 horse, prop size is 13x19 (cupped).My top speed is 36mph @5000rpm. the stern bracket is at the top hole. Does this seem ok?

    1979 100 horse evinrude, what should the gap be? I was told .032, is that right?

    prop size?

    I have a 1979 100 horse evinrude on a 16 ft. Glastron conroy, the prop was beat so I bought a new one 13x19, the old one was a 13x17 but the rpms were to high, the new prop at wot turns 5000 rpms at 37 mph. Does this seem ok? I thought I would have a better top speed.

    WIRE IN CYLINDER HEAD?

    I have a 1979 100 horse evinrude, there is a tan wire that comes out of the cylinder head,it is not connected to anything, where should it go? motor does run good.

    PRIMER BULB

    MY PRIMER BALL PUMPS UP GOOD UNTIL I START THE MOTOR, IT GOES COMPLETLY FLAT, BUT RUNS. AFTER RIDING WOT FOR ABOUT 10 MINUTES I LOSE POWER AND RPM. MOTOR WILL IDLE OK, BUT WHEN I WOT IT SOMETIMES ITERMITENTLY RUN GOOD THEN STUTTER. EVINRUDE 1979 100 HORSE.
