    Yes it is. I tried 2 different new modules in it but still overheats the coil. I put 2 new coils in as well. Still overheats the coil.

    New top and interior. Ran like a dream for a few years. Now I’m having problems after it worms up. Starts running rough then dies. Coil gets hot like a firecracker. I think my aftermarket electronic ignition module is bad. Nothing else checks out. New coil didn’t do anything.

    Tilt leak down

    I have a 1966 Larson with 120hp mercruiser stern drive. The out drive leaks down over an hour (give or take). No visible external oil leaks anywhere. This is a single line ram and only designed as tilt. No trim. Any ideas on cause?

    year for merc 50hp

    I tried to look this up and I think it's a 1965. Does this sound right. A guy on craigslist want to sell this for $250. There is a small(2inch) chunk of fin off the side of the lower unit. Will this make a big difference? SR # 1771929
