    Well I don't like the sound of that! I thought the Thunderbolt ignition was a "no points" set-up. Live and learn. Trying to check the coils... Post to post/primary I get .4 ohms. Plug tower to either post I get nothing.

    1970 model ...Left sitting with fuel in system for over a year. Replaced fuel/mix, then; Did start after many pulls, but would only run at idle speed (but smooth). Open the throttle and it stalled. Investigation found fuel contamination (rust in tank) and crud in carburetor and fuel pump...
