Well I finally found the serial number for this Honda 7.5 but I have no way of decoding it to find out what year it is or any other information about it.
I would really appreciate it if somebody could help me out with this.

I needed a small trolling motor for my lake boat so a friend of mine from work told me he has a 7.5 HP Honda four stroke that I can use if I can get it going.
It has sat for the past 2 years in his garage and he is just not using it, well I picked it up today and did manage to get it going...
