i dont know what the diff between a gel-coat and just regular paint is. can a boat be painted with regular automotive paint? what is the diff. in application between the two?
my boatr has the straight six chevy engine... its a 1972 reinell 165hp. 18ft. how do i find out info about the block itself? i want to change the head over to a reg unleaded head. right now i have to put lead additive in the fuel. that and it would just be nice to know c.i.d. and things of that...

I have just puchased a 1975 Gulfstream i/o 190hp... i need to adjust the tilt drive... it goes down but does not go all the way down. once it thinks its all the way it clicks... i have been told it can be adjusted but how would one go about doing this? any help is great thanks...
