My son bought my old boat I sold 5 yrs ago. We put a new fresh rebuilt 350 in it this spring. Used the old exhaust manifolds and risers. Long story short - we had to replace the manifolds because of internal cracks...
Once a week... i check my 81 Checkmate restoration thread to see if the pictures show up thru-out the thread...and nope, nota one picture can you see. At least i cant see them.
Am i ever going to be able to see my pictures in my thread that i started 3 yrs ago?
My other post about my outdrive.... 1981 MC-1 898 Merc outdrive....replacing ujoints and seals...not sure but my upper housing case may be shot. Still no answer.

Looking for some expert advice...Pulled the outdrive to check things on the checkmate after it's maiden voyage....I thought something Wasn’t right……when I drained the lube there was water in the lube…..when I pulled the drive there was gear lube in the bellows but no water. The drive bellows...
I updated several post on friday and all are lost today. Also sent a few P.M. and those were lost also.
Nor sure what to do.....can a Mod please P.M. me on this issue.

Yes early style BIA Color code with Ampmeter.
The thing is all the wires match the color code from engine to dash..but at the dash there is a plug and they changed some of the colors after the plug going to the gauges.
The boats starts and runs fine and the battery...

Well you all know that im restoring the checkmate........When the 305 spun a bearing i decided to go with a 350 ( Another thread) so when i was taking everything apart it did not have the restrictor plates in-between the elbow and manifold.
I put the (NEW 350) back together without the plate...

Update..:D.....So close i can taste it!
Its been a few since last post so i thought i show some progress.
Installed the new Rubrail (Taco flexable) Heat gun and lotsa screws.
Drilled and installed the pourable foam (2 - gallons, 2lb closed cell).....pluged up...
