I need to find an outboard to replace the 125hp force on my 18' Bayliner Capri Cuddy. I want to know what the smallest outboard is that will plane the boat. I am not looking for a lot of speed I just want to cruise around. Wondering if 60-80 will do the job.

I have a 1971 55 Chrysler and I can't seem to get it to pump water. I just replaced the impeller so I know that is not the problem. I have tried to run it for about 30 seconds and still no water. If anyone has any suggestions on what I can do please let me know. Thanks
