I recently bought a used ss quicksilver mirage 19p 48-13700a41 prop. If I try to use the thrust washer it pushes the prop to far out. If I remove the washer it seats down fine against the tapered part of the shaft and nothing rubs...
Local boat yard has a 79 120. Will I notice much of a power difference if I go with the smaller motor? What about putting the 140 cam in the 120? I'm use to working on v8 engines so these little 4 cylinders are new to me.

I re-covered the boards around my gauges with new vinyl and when I took the gauges out I noticed that the tach wasn't connected to anything. It only has 2 wires. Black and gray. Black is the ground for sure. Where can I hook the gray wire to to get a signal?
