    Exhaust Flapper, Discontinued, now what?

    my 3.0 GS smoked the exhaust flapper at some point in its life and i found it's remains in the bellows...i went to the dealer to get the new pieces, but they inform me they are discontinued. the local tech informed they are not using them anymore on the newer motors....thoughts?

    WTF do i have, OMC or volvo penta???

    my outdrive says volvo penta on the tilt mechanism and the casing that bolts to the boat, it also says volvo penta on the flame arrestor cover, but it says OMC on the engine ID badge so my engine serial number is "302cpncs" so i cant find that ID on the volvo penta website....its in a 96 four...

    Distributor Cap , where to buy locally??

    Have a 96 volvo penta 3.0 GS. it NEEDS a new distributor cap, the terminals inside the cap and corroded BADLY!!! Who carries caps for these things? Like an autozone or napa or similar place? need one ASAP!!!
