I just had my pontoon boat re-decked and re-carpeted. When the shop reinstalled the console the steering is opposite of what it's suppose to be. I believe it is a morse rotary steering system. There is a red cable going in one side and a whiteish clear cable on the other. Does anyone know how to...

My manual says to adjust the idle while in gear on the water. There is no way I can get to the motor on my 24' Party Barge Pontoon. Any tips, tricks or suggestions on a good way to do it on the muffs? She's idling at about 800 RPMs and wants to die when I put it in gear. I want to bump it up...
The task is complete. I have R & R'd the thermostats and there was no question that the old ones were caked with calcium or other crud. No drilling, no power head removal, just a lot of patience and usefull tips from the folks here at iboats. Thank You to everyone who have replied to my...
Is there any issue with hooking up a hose to the garden hose and running water through the heads to see if there is any blockage? I'm in the process of replacing the thermostats and thought it might be an interesting thing to do. I haven't looked at the water flow diagram in manual but, am...
I took the kids tubing today for a couple of hours. The motor ran fine until we headed in. While I was waiting to load the boat the motor died on the wife and she couldn't get it restarted. I finally got it started but, there were several iterations of stalling before I got the boat on the...
The Starboard o-temp warning sensor goes off after about 5 minutes running on the muffs at idle. ~ 900 RPMs. My OMC manual does not tell you how to get the sensor out. Do I need to order a head gasket and pull the head to get to the sensor and install a new one? I can count about 2 seconds...
I have a '91 Evinrude 115. I noticed the other day after running on the muffs that there was a small amount of oil that dripped from the prop exhaust. Is this from the fuel mixture? Too rich? The motor seems to be running fine.
Thanks,
John
