I have a 97 Johnson 90hp V4 and the motor will not lower. It is in the full up position. When I push the lower button, it moves down about an 1/8 of an inch and stops. When I release the button, it goes back up to the same distance.
Any help or ideas would be appreciated.
I have a 1998 Johnson 90HP V4, never been in the shop, only work has been new plugs. It starts easy but it will not stay running unless you hold the choke in. I have rebuilt the fuel pump, been through both carbs and found no problems. added fresh fuel but had no change in performance...
