I found this interesting article in the Epoxy Works magazine by West Systems. Interesting. I have also read posts from other forums about people using gelcoat over epoxy.

I ran across this free book you can download. It is in PDF format. It is for epoxy boat building. It has some very good information that can be used on repairs as well. A lot of information on materials, tools, etc.

Got the top cap loose. Engine is off. A whole lof of mess cleaned up!
