I am going to install an electric fuel pump on my M/C 470 and need some difinitive wiring instructions. I have bought a 3 leg oil sending unit but I cannot figure out where to wire the existing wire to the dash pressure guage.
My boat has been garaged for over a year. I put a couple of ounces of Marvel Mystery Oil in each cylinder last week(4/15) and took it out to the lake this morning. I pulled the coil wire and cranked it 4-5 times. I put the coil wire back on gave her a shot of either and she fired right up. I...
I need to replace all my bellows on my pre-alpha outdrive. I did this 6-8 years ago and remembered what a pain in the rear it was putting the bellows on. Sooo, for this time I bought a bellows expander tool. I got it yesterday but it came with no directions on how to use it, went on You-Tube...

I have a M/C 470 with a Pertronix ignition conversion. I am running a standard 12 volt universal coil and getting a miss after about 15-20 minutes run time. After some research I suspect I have the Pertronix #1146A ignition system in my distributor. Please confirm I need Pertronix matching...
1984 M/C 470, pushing a 24' JC Tritoon. Carb was professionally rebuilt last year, and recently clean/replaced carb filter, inline filter & water seperator filter. Really found no major contamination.
I can take my boat out and run for 20-30 minutes at a time and she runs great. Then after...

I have a M/C 470, 3.7L engine.
Thanks in advance,
