Will a 60 Hp 1976 Model 606HA and 75 Hp 1975 Model 757HA have a lot of the same parts? Will the L/U work , Carbs, Stator, Etc?
I have the opportunity to purchase the 60 HP Model 606HA for very cheap and would like to use it for parts.
Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated...
I have a 1974 mod:757ha 75hp Chrysler that needs the Lower Unit seals replaced.
I took it out and it ran fine for about 30 i stopped and when I started the engine and put it in to gear it would not go it to drive all the way. I got it out the water and flushed it and checked the lower end gear...
I have a problem with my lower end unit when i attempt to put it in to Forward or reverse it doesn't seem to want to go in to gear all the way you can kind of hear it almost grinding or rattling then kills the engine only in the water, out of the water it will continue to run but...
