    Running engine with flush kit on it/over heat alarm comes on

    I just bought a 1987 bayliner capri with an 85 hp force motor on it. I have never had an outboard mainly inboards. I hooked up the ear muffs to the the intake and let engine run but the alarm came on and no water ever came out of the holes. what am i doing wrong? i dont know if there is a plug...
