Motor starts idles shuts down it runs for nolonger than 10 sec. It was spiting fuel from the carbs replaced the reeds with boysen fixed that prob and sound 100 times better when running but still will only run for 10 sec. any help please dont know what to do from here.
how do i replace the reeds on my johnson 120 1994 v4? step by step if possible i have the carbs and intake off so far just want to know what to do from there and how hard it is.
I have a 94 johnson 120 motor starts fine and runs through its choke period then when motor idles down runs for 10 sec. and shuts down after back fire.
Can keep running by reving up but runs hard and spits fuel back at me from carbs and small jets on the front thinking about just replacing...
