I have a 2004 Mercury 25HP 2 stroke. Its leaking from the weep hole as seen here:
What is the piece the fuel is leaking from? Do I need to rebuild the whole carb. The motor runs fine otherwise. Any suggestions appreciated. TIA.
I had the same symptoms with my old fuel tank so I replaced it. The symptoms continued with the new tank. I haven't been able to find a matching fuel line/connector. Will try replacing that next.

agreed, I have seen similar symptoms reported with a bad head gasket. Definitely something else to consider. I'll check the spark before I go down that road. Head gasket issue found here: https://forums.iboats.com/threads/30hp-johnson-hard-warm-start.408167/page-2
Yes, Igniton pack is there. no signs of melted wiring. Primer bulb does stay hard. I'll have to check the spark and report back. I have not checked the Flywheel key.
