    Hooked it up to muffs, wasn't water leaking from anywhere. Checked oil, nice and blackish still. If it was cracked head the oil would be baige color.

    I received this boat from my elderly parents. It had been sitting for many years in a covered garage. Before being stored I was told that new bellows, gimble bearing were replace, as well as water pump and impeller.

    I have an alpha one merccruiser with a no start problem. I have trouble shot the problem to the interruption switch. I have disconnected the wires to the switch and the boat will now start. Is there a way to test the switch to make sure it is the switch before I start trying to adjust the cables?

    HiN in only eight #s

    I had to scrape the paint off the back of my newly purchased aluminum boat to find the HIN, and when I did I found that there are only eight numbers? I was told that the boat was an 1982 by the seller, but if that were the case wouldnt there be twelve numbers? These are the numbers K0040007.

    14 ft Lund bench removal

    I am going to purchase a 14 ft lund aluminum boat, and would like to remove the front bench seat and the wooden peice that runs down the middle. I would like to install a new wooden floor, and pedestal seats. The boat is a 1983 Lund, would there be a problem in doing this?
