Ok, first let me thank everyone in my other posts when I needed help to get the boat in the water! Now onto boat in the water issues :)
Anyway, today was the first day that I got to take the boat out on the lake. What I find is this... when I'm in my driveway, I can "rev" the engine over 2000...
Mine is really corroded, it's the last thing I need to do is the timing before putting this thing in the water! Can someone sent me a picture of theirs with the degrees on it?

So another question related to my saga... When I was pulling off the lower again to put in that seal, there was part of a "mystery" gasket in the grease. Based on the fact that the grease was on top of the vertical...
