    Bellhousing

    Hi all Vovlvo penta 5.7, 280 leg, old style twin bearing bellhousing I had a growling noise coming from the intermediate bearings. After removing the engine and leg I replaced the bearings, seals etc. I still have the growling noise (maybe worse) the bearing really didn't need to be pressed...

    hi all I have a bayliner 2850 command bridge 5.7 engine and 280 (recon leg). I checked the drive and its def right one 1.62 to 1 I have a 16 x 13 prop which I an told is the right prop for that boat. there is one guy that says hes got a 16 x 15 prop about 300hp and he can do about 30 knots...

    hi all hope one of you might be able to help back ground I had a 5.7 mercuriser engine ran sweet. great idle etc. long story short head gasket went, cylinder got water in, put rod thou block (you get the picture) guy before be put normal car head gasket in and it rotted away with the sea...
