I have a 6hp 4 stroke 2004 Mercury kicker on the back of my fishing boat. It has a charging kit installed (2 amp I think) which runs from the motor (hard wired) to one of my batteries, and I also have a remote throttle control (Trollmaster) wired from my boat to the kicker. So combined there...
