    Hey I have a 1986 Larson citation dc-190 Alpha one 3.0lx 4cyclinder mcm 140 I’m looking for a wiring schematic for the dashboard. I can’t find it online anywhere and I’m having trouble hooking up my fuel gauge .

    Motor dies in neutral

    Boat: 17’ Larson 174 sei 3.0 liter merc cruiser alpha one I/o Est distributor Boat dies in neutral and have to constantly apply constant throttle(small amounts) in order to keep running. Runs and shifts good . Sounds like it’s getting full power . Unfamiliar w carbon stuff . Need help

    I have red/blue together w purple on ignition part of switch . Boat runs greats . Lanyard works. Shuts off fine but only with this purple wire on alternator unhooked

    Another issue. Apparently when I unhook purple wire to alternator it starts/runs/shuts off normal. However, with purple wire plugged in and all plugs in alternator it does not shut off.

    all I did was move that orange wire to the other side of the fuse panel and swapped the wires on the assisted solenoid and reversed the circuit breaker wires. Shuts off now

    Ok thanks. I’m at work rn but I will this evening. I will say the other day I unplugged the alternator clip and it still ran so it’s drawing power from somewhere. Nightmare this season…

    When the motor is off I do not have 12v at the ignition coil. I pulled the plug that goes into the coil and it’s dead. 0v. Assist Solenoid when off-I do have power of 12.6v(red) on that big post.     When motor is off I have 2-3V At key switch (solenoid wire yellow/red) & it’s consist at the assist solenoid load wire(yellow/red) also showing same voltage of 2-3volts when motor is off and unhooked
