    Overheated motor now alarm will not go off????

    tach cutting in and out

    well the tach is cutting in and out checked all the wires under dash and moved the dial to clean connections still nothing did a volt check at the vro 4 wire plug and was suppose to have 9volts there but did not only had 4 to 5 I think does that mean the rectifier is going or what anything else...

    Found a loose hose on the vro and bad o-ring on the vapor box took care of those and she's back to normal idling around 1000 to 950 in the water no sneeze and no skip did another lync and sync and all is good no hesitation on take off and runs right up to 61 at 5500 rpm's like the old day but...

    rebuilt carbs now don't idle???

    1991 Fastrike 150 hp had the carbs cleaned and rebuilt with all new gaskets and now after we put them back on she won't idle.if you spray a mix of gas and oil in the throat of the starboard side she will stay running ,spray into port side and she stalls.it seems to be only the starboard side...
