In most cases if none of the lights are working with a 4 pin plug it's the ground (white wire)...

Update: I did the compression check: All spark plugs Removed, the lead to the coil disconnected (and protected with electrical tape)...

It can be, I would disconnect the pump or remove the impeller to be safe Cold is better than nothing and should provide some insight

Cracks in manifolds would either leak outside where you can see it or put water in the cylinders If your a fresh water boater I doubt...
