    when i got my boat it had the fish finder mounted on the dash, im wanting to move it to the front of my boat, but the cable isn't long enuff. the cable is for the thing that is mounted on the out side of my boat. can i get a longer extention for my cable? thanks

    i have a 1983 johnson 88 spl outboard engine this engine runs great it will idel perfect when it is not under a load and it also runs great at wot ,the only problem i'm having with this engine is that when i put it in gear it will die , to remedy this the prvious owner had the engine idling...

    i have a 1983 johnson outboard it is a 88spl the engine runs great ,but it will not idel when i put it in gear. i have been adjusting the throttle cable to make it stay running ,but it slams real hard in gear i realy would like to fix this before i break something. please help?

    i have a 1993 johnson 88 spl. on my 17 foot bass boat .the motor will not idel in gear it idels fine when neteral.i have to raise my idel speed way up to keep it running when i put it in gear. have looked at carbs and timing. any help will be appreciated.

    i have been looking in to getting a 3 bank charger for my boat,i can only find thetyp of charger i want in on board only.so my question is. will a on board charger be hard on my outboard charging system?
