Trying to get the real weight of a boat.
Wondering if boat yard offer the service, or if uhaul rents a crane scale, or if it is better to go to an auto shop with corner scales and then weight the trailer alone afterwards.

Mercruiser 260 - came with a gauge with a no label scale - was wondering if it is a linear scale, and perhaps it is 0-80, with 40 psi straight up. I know I can replace it or just use a voltmeter, but it would be nice to no what PSI my engine is hitting at idle when it graces the white strips on...

It is always nice to fully understand the engineering on your craft.
Also, it would be nice to know - does the water on the way from the impeller to the engine cooling system _really_ do anything at all to cool the upper unit?

Wondering the normal color of oil - photo taken during the pumping of new oil from below. . new oil is blue, but old oil coming out is mustard or custard yellow. Better than coffee color or black, but the bubbles (hopefully just air, not water) were a concern. Photo attached.
