    1974 85 hp poor idle

    I have a 1974 Mercury 85hp. I can get it to start OK but cannot get it to idle below 1000 rpm and stay running. It will idle for a few seconds at around 600 to 800 rpm and then die. Compression is good with all cylinders around 135 psi. I recently rebuilt the carbs and have tried adjusting...
