I have a 17' 1991 Bayliner with a 3cyl 90HP Force L-Drive motor. I need to replace my motor, and I'd like to know if a 1985 Mercruiser (GM 4cyl) 120 Hp motor would be compatible. I think the Merc would be Alpha1, I'm not sure if mine is Alpha2. I'm also not sure what Hp my boat is rated up to...
