    2002 3hp Yamaha won't start

    Was running great and now won't start. Good spark to the plug but the plug is dry. Ordered the new diaphrams for fuel pump. Maybe the float????? any ideas? Thanks! Andy

    78 6hp runs then doesn't

    I have a 1978 6hp Johnson 2-stroke. sometimes it will run great forever and the once in a while it'll start, run good then after about 2 minutes or so it will just die and will not start for at least ten minutes. I have a new fuel pump, good gas. Just can't figure it out. Any ideas? Thanks! Andy

    Yamaha 2-Stroke 3hp 3AMHS won't start

    This motor has been running great until last week when it just died. Good gas, new plug and in fresh water. Motor turns over when starter rope is pulled but nothing. Anyone have any ideas or thoughts before I have to take it to the shop? Thanks! Andy

    78 6hp running problem

    I have a 1978 Evinrude 6hp 2 stroke on my sailboat. Lately it seems to act like it is running out of gas...and yes, I have plenty of fuel and the right mix. It doesn't seem to want to idle but will run at a higher rpm. I replace the fuel fitting on the fuel line and also a new primer bulb...

    74 Sears 3hp...good?

    I am looking at what a seller says is: 1974 Sears 3hp Outboard boat motor 3 hp Gamefisher Eska Air cooled, model 217.58544, light, Ted Williams. Seller says it is in good shape and runs good. I want to use it on a 7 foot fiberglass dingy. Any thoughts of comments about this motor? Thanks! Andy

    1978 6hp charging question

    I have a 1978 6hp 2 stroke that does not use a battery. Is there a way to set it up so that I can use it to charge a 12v while I'm running it? Thanks! Andy
